Dubai, 21 December 2015 – According to UNESCO, over 6 billion people have access to a connected mobile device. For every three Internet users, two people use mobile devices to access information online. With the huge potential of smartphone devices to create an effective place to learn, mobile learning is revolutionizing the learning landscape.
Eton Institute, a leading international language & professional development training provider, creates an online community of students and teachers by gathering experts to contribute their knowledge on different languages through its new free multi-language mobile app, Langu.ag, as the learning platform.
Research by the International Journal of E-Learning and Distance Education found out that a learning environment with socioaffective and collaborative support motivated learners to become more confident and responsible to study effectively.
“Part of our mission is to provide a learning experience where people enjoy accessible, precise and useful content throughout their learning journey. Eton Institute introduces an innovative way of delivering exceptional learning by collaborating with the learners themselves as ‘Langu.ag’ gurus,” commented Sue Brett, VP of Sales & Marketing at Eton Institute.
In order to become a ‘Langu.ag’ guru, they need to be bilingual and fluent in the chosen language(s), over 18 years old, with an interest to share their cultural and linguistic experiences.
“We open the doors to all native speakers and language experts to contribute accurate language content to create a knowledge bank through our mobile app, ‘Langu.ag’ – a simple act of collaboration that will make a big difference for our global community of learners,” Sue Brett added.
