Nando's celebrates launch of brand new ‘coop' at Deira City Centre, with Star Wars inspired campaign

Dubai, 17th December, 2015: There has been a flurry of excitement as Nando’s newest restaurant has finally opened, to much anticipation, at Deira City Centre Mall. 
 
Interior design company, Harrisons UK worked hard to ensure that while the restaurant blended well into its surrounding location, the interior’s look and feel was synonymous with what people have come to love from the Nando’s brand. 
 
Tonal timber tiles were combined with colourful furniture to create an ambience of warmth and welcome while the modern, geometric fusion of traditional materials and patterns, inspired by its Afro-Portuguese roots, ensures that the space feels airy but extremely homely.  Textured clay wall finishes, patterned metal and timber beaded screen detailing and beautiful art works sourced from artists in South Africa complete the space. The Deira City Centre restaurant also offers views into the open kitchen allowing you to see your delectable chicken meals being flame-grilled to perfection. 
 
The opening of the Deira City Centre restaurant ties in well with the launch of one of the year’s most anticipated movies, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This ruffled many of the Nandocas’ feathers in excitement, resulting in Nando’s launching it’s very own campaign, Nando’s: The Sauce Awakens, which will see Nando’s celebrating its delectable selection of Nando’s sauces and flame-grilled chicken meals as well as have one of the world’s most infamous villains, Darth Vader making a guest appearance during the film’s launch week – so, look out for Darth Vader out and about in Dubai’s various Nando’s restaurants, malls and rumour has it, possibly even making deliveries around Dubai on one of Nando’s ‘Don’t drive and crave’ delivery bikes. 
 
Nando’s Deira City Centre is located in unit B003, just next to the Vox Cinemas and is officially open for business.
