BenQ attains 135 % Quarter to Quarter growth in GAMING monitor segment in Middle East & Turkey

Dubai, UAE; October 29, 2015– BenQ Middle East & Turkey has reported a strong growth of 135 % in Quarter 2 in the Middle East and Turkey. The company has made inroads into the region’s vibrant gaming café scene and has captured the imagination of Arab gaming enthusiasts with its extensive line up of gaming monitors. The BenQ XL and RL series of displays are the first choice for serious gamers, and BenQ is the designated monitor for many gaming leagues and tournaments.
Compared to same period last quarter, the company experienced double digit growth in the UAE for its gaming monitors, 214% in KSA and 519% in Turkey.
According to Manish Bakshi, Managing Director, BenQ Middle East & Turkey, “When it comes to gaming monitors, we have always pushed the boundaries in terms of refresh rates and pixel density, motion blur reduction technology and FreeSync, offering gaming enthusiasts the most thrilling experience. There is a niche community of Arab gamers in the region who frequent gaming cafes, take part in tournaments and also do not mind investing in high end monitors for personal use. We targeted them early on and today we are the preferred brand of choice, helping us to rake in 135% of growth in the last quarter alone. We expect to grow by 200% this year compared to last year.”
