Burjuman is Turning Pink

October 19th , 2015 - Dubai, UAE: In acknowledgement of BurJuman’s Safe and Sound Breast Cancer Awareness campaign and the launch of the new Safe & Sound App, BurJuman Centre turns pink this October.

Featuring in - mall and external initiatives throughout October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month, Burjuman has turned its outdoor facade lighting pink, along with various interior decoration in harmony with this month’s awareness. On the weekend, a pink piano, positioned strategically in t he mall’s atrium, will offer a musician playing a wide variety of music which the crowds swarming through the mall can enjoy.

In  support of breast cancer, the Ripe Food & Craft Market is turning its theme Pink this October, in line with BurJuman’s Safe & Sound campaign. The Ripe Food & Craft Market will be welcoming shoppers from 5pm till 10pm on Thursday 22nd October 2015, giving BurJuman visitors a chance to enjoy an ideal community market  experience, while providing a relaxed backdrop for your dining and shopping adventures.

Whether you’re after seasonal organic fruits and veggies, jewelry, arts and crafts, or gifts and  homeware, there’s a treat for everyone. The market will consist of thirty artisan stalls  – focusing on items that have been made in the UAE. Local musician Achint Singh will also be on hand to serenade shoppers.

As in previous years, uniCare Medical Centre joined the campaign as medical partner, and will be running a number of activities during Breast Cancer Awareness month, such as giving away 10,000 coupons for free check ups, and unlimited discounted mammograms at uniCare clinics during October. An  exclusive event  was held at Curve Salon in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Curve Salon staff invited customers to enjoy a day of pampering and relaxing. A guest speaker, who is also a breast cancer survivor gave a speech to the guests. Proceeds  from  this  event  were  donated to Al Jalila Foundation.
