Dubai Health Authority to showcase the latest in medical technology at GITEX 2015

United Arab Emirates, Dubai, October 17: 2015: In line with the vision of transforming Dubai into a smart city, DHA  announced that it will showcase the latest in medical technology at its stand at GITEX2015.

 Amani Al Jassmi, Director of Information at the DHA, said: “ DHA’s smart health strategy is in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and is aligned with the Dubai smart government approach  to transform Dubai into a smart city so that government organizations in Dubai provide their customers with smart services that are convenient and can be accessed through various kinds of technology.”

Al Jassmi said that the use of smart healthcare kiosks for self-checks and its latest medical applications which will directly benefit the UAE community.

In addition to this, the Authority has also enhanced the features of its apps, including Sehaty( my health)  and ‘Dubai Doctors’ app.  Both these apps were launched in the last quarter of 2011 and were developed internally.

Visitors at the DHA stand will be able to learn about DHA apps and its plethora of features. DHA will also provide  visitors on-the-spot free screening for blood pressure, blood sugar etc.
