Masterclass with top voice over star! a special workshop with the voice of top video games at Hayley's Comet!

Dubai, Sunday 11th October 2015: When you watch cartoons, Disney movies, and blockbuster movies, there is a voice behind every character. If you play video games, an actor or an actress is playing the characters that you control and becoming the voice that defines them. Now is the chance for kids all over Dubai to start learning how to become a voice star!

Siri Steinmo is a top voice artist from the USA. She trained at drama school in the UK and after playing leads in musicals, singing with an international funk band (opening for BB King) and starring in films alongside well-loved British actors, Siri has now become the voice of popular video games such as Microsoft’s Cortana and the audio books of True Blood and Pound of Flesh. She  also played Lady Macbeth for the award-winning Wireless Theatre Company and will be starring in a brand new TOP SECRET blockbuster video game out this November!

Excitingly this October, Siri will be coming to Dubai to host an exclusive one-off workshop for budding stars to attend! The special masterclass will be held at James & Alex Dance Studios on Friday 23rd October 9am-11am. In association with Hayley’s Comet, the workshop will involve reading real scripts from video games and commercials, tips on how to change your voice into different characters, an insight into becoming a cartoon voice, plus a Q&A session with Siri where she will spill the secrets about what it’s like to film on location in New York City!

Cost for the ‘VOICE MASTERCLASS’ is AED 250 (AED 225 for registered Hayley’s Comet children). Spaces are limited so contact info@hayleyscomet.com ASAP to get involved. The workshop is suitable for ages 8-16 years and you do not have to be a current student to take part as this workshop is open to ALL.
