A10 Networks Brings Security Focus to GITEX with Next-Generation Application Delivery Controllers and DDoS Mitigation Solutions

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 6th October, 2015 -- A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN), a technology leader in application networking, today announced its participation at GITEX Technology Week 2015 and will showcase the company’s Thunder appliances, including Application Delivery Controllers (ADC) with SSL Insight and Threat Protection Systems (TPS) that ensure user-to-application connectivity is fast, always on, safe and secure.

Commenting on their participation at GITEX, Glen Ogden, Regional Sales Director for the Middle East region at A10 Networks, says, “Attacks are on the rise. The A10 Networks Thunder ADC product line’s SSL Insight feature eliminates the blind spot imposed by SSL encryption, offloading CPU-intensive SSL decryption functions that enable security devices to inspect encrypted traffic – not just clear text. Thunder ADC decrypts SSL-encrypted traffic and forwards it to a third-party security device like a firewall for deep packet inspection (DPI). Once the traffic has been analyzed and scrubbed, Thunder ADC re-encrypts it and forwards it to the intended destination.
