Emirates Post Group highlights inter-GCC product ‘Gulf Express' at all post offices on GulfEx Day

Dubai, October 5, 2015: Emirates Post Group organised a number of promotional events and highlighted the Gulf Express (GulfEx) by service on the occasion of GulfEx Day today. GulfEx is a dedicated document and parcel service designed to provide speedy delivery across the Gulf.
As part of the promotional event, all express mail items bound for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries was routed through GulfEx. This is in implementation of the decision of GCC countries to promote the Gulf Express service by observing October 5 as Gulf Express Day annually in all the GCC countries under the slogan "GulfEx, your first choice".
Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Post Group, Ibrahim Bin Karam, stressed that GulfEx had gained wide popularity in across GCC because of its speed and reliability. Therefore, it was fitting to observe Gulf Express Day on October 5 by organizing special events and extending the service to all postal items and parcels sent to GCC countries. He urged customers to take advantage of the quick and secure service to any destination in the Gulf region at reasonable costs, enhanced by the facility of ‘track and trace’ through the Internet or smartphone apps.
Mr. Bin Karam added that Emirates Post Group supports the GulfEx product as a distinctive service because of its unique features and vast network, which has made it popular across the GCC region, especially since the volume of trade between the Gulf countries is on the rise and this product serves as the most important postal link between the Gulf states.
