In association with Blood Transfusion Services and Research Center of Sharjah
Emirates Post Group organized a blood donation campaign at the Dubai Central Post Office in Karama in association with the Blood Transfusion Services and Research Center of Sharjah, in implementation of the initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, entitled “My Blood ….. for my country.”
The campaign generated an overwhelming response from the Group's customers and employees. The initiative was in line with EPG’s belief that blood donation is a noble humanitarian gesture that could save the lives of thousands of patients who need blood transfusions, especially those who suffer them from thalassemia or some incurable diseases, as well as accident cases.
Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam, Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Post Group, said the initiative was an extension of the Group’s support to the community at various levels and a way of contributing to the noble campaign launched by our leaders to boost the stock of blood in UAE hospitals to meet the needs of patients, and to save the lives of many.
