Dubai to open its first Virtual Reality Gaming Lounge

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 13th 2015: Dubai is about to welcome a brand new offering on the Leisure and Entertainment market: a Virtual Reality Gaming Lounge. The one-of-a-kind entertainment center will consist of 300 square meters of active, racing and seated Virtual Reality only experiences. “We want to bring the most immersive VR gaming experiences for everyone to have and to keep”, says Owain Evans, Founder and Managing Director of Aurora Gaming, the Dubai based Virtual Reality company behind the lounge.

For those who haven’t experienced Virtual Reality yet, the Downtown located venue will provide a lot of different packages to conquer all. “We have built gaming experiences not only for gamers, but also for gym enthusiasts, arts fans, schools or corporate groups. Just imagine a place where you could work out on a mountain bike in a European forest! Or a place where your children can take a trip to Mars, or walk with the dinosaurs instead of discovering them in books or movies” says Marine Groult, Head of Marketing of the group.

Everyone will find their own way to experience Virtual Reality. For gaming only, Aurora Gaming Lounge will offer sports, strategy, action, puzzle, adventure and other active, seated and racing experiences. Arts enthusiasts will have their own room to paint and decorate –and will be able to leave with their piece of Arts. Each 30 to 60 minutes sessions can be recorded so the player can leave with it and relive his one—of-a-kind experience.

The company’s Indiegogo campaign will begin on the 1st of October and will be live until the end of November. Exciting prizes will be given away to those who will participate in the crowdfunding, starting with having their names written on one of the Gaming Lounge’s wall.
