Tiffany CT60® Annual Calendar Watch Pre-selected in the 2015 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève

Dubai, September 5, 2015: The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) has announced that the Tiffany CT60® Annual Calendar Limited Edition watch has been pre-selected in the Calendar watch category. The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève is a world-renowned watch competition where watch brands from all over the world vie for the highest honors.

The Tiffany CT60® Annual Calendar Limited Edition was chosen in the first round of voting by a jury of more than 20 experts, including watchmakers, gemologists, historians and critics. The ultimate winner in each of the competition’s 12 categories, as well as the winner of the Aiguille d’Or of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, the most prestigious award in watchmaking, will be announced at a gala ceremony at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, on October 29. 

Named for founder Charles Tiffany, the Tiffany CT60® Annual Calendar is handcrafted in a tradition of excellence established by Mr. Tiffany with the opening of his New York City store, in 1837. His reputation as timekeeper of the city’s frenetic pace—famously referred to as the New York Minute—is richly reflected in the watch’s self-winding, double-complication mechanical movement of the finest Swiss pedigree, with Côtes de Genève, Colimaçon and Perlage finishing. The movement is housed in a 40 mm case of 18 karat rose gold. A white soleil finish with gold poudré numerals distinguishes the clean, masculine dial. This timepiece was created in a limited-edition series of 60. Each piece is individually numbered on the case.

The Tiffany CT60® Annual Calendar Limited Edition will be part of a traveling exhibition alongside the other pre-selected watches, scheduled as follows:

• Hong Kong (Liang Yi Museum, October 2–3)
• Seoul (Hyundai Card Music Library, October 6–8)
• Dubai (Dubai Watch Week—DIFC, October 18–22)
• Geneva (Cité du Temps, October 26–November 4).

Since its spring 2015 launch, the Tiffany CT60® Annual Calendar Limited Edition has exceeded all expectations. In celebration of the 2015 opening of Tiffany & Co. in Geneva, the jeweler and watchmaker also created a new Tiffany CT60® Annual Calendar Limited Edition watch in 18 karat white gold featuring a case back which is engraved with Tiffany’s watchmaking facility that opened at Geneva’s Place Cornavin in 1874. Fall 2015 will see the launch of two new Tiffany CT60® Annual Calendar watches in white gold, with a black or gray dial, both in limited editions of 60 timepieces. Additionally, a new Tiffany CT60® Annual Calendar watch in rose gold with black dial will debut by the end of the year.
