Shoexpress undertakes region's first parent-friendly ‘Back To School' campaign!

In a welcoming and brilliantly novel initiative to ease the burden of children’s school fees from their parents’ shoulders; Shoexpress, one of the region’s leading value fashion footwear and accessories retailer announced their ‘Back To School’ campaign that has picked up momentum with a difference!

Having made an exciting debut on the 26th of July, the Shoexpress ‘Back To School’ campaign will be ongoing until September 5th, 2015. Shoppers are eligible for a raffle coupon on single receipt billing of DHS 129 for UAE whereas shoppers in Bahrain can enter the draw with a single receipt billing of BHD 12.9 at any of Shoexpress outlets. Raffle drawn lucky winners stand a chance to win a share of their children’s school fees as Shoexpress is giving away DHS 100,000 for UAE and BHD 5,000 for Bahrain in school fees for the current academic year 2015-2016. The promotion is valid on shopping for the entire family at Shoexpress not just children’s school footwear and is open to all shoppers residing in the UAE and  Bahrain.

In light of the recent school fees hike in the region; it has been a major pinch point for parents after rental lease for residential units. Almost all schools announce an increase in fees structure year on year and UAE is said to be the most expensive for schooling amongst all countries in the GCC. Shoexpress devised this novel campaign to contribute a share towards student’s school fees in a bid to give back befittingly to their loyal customers.

Detailing further on the exclusive campaign COO of Shoexpress, Iesmoenie Jakoet said; “So far we have always heard of ‘Back To School’ promotions that allure children and why shouldn’t they be. However, our recent findings revealed that parents have genuinely been troubled with the hike in school fees year on year. In our endeavour to reach out to our loyal customers in a more considerate manner, we devised this campaign so that we could contribute in our own small way.”

The promotion has already kicked off in all Shoexpress stores across the UAE and Bahrain. The draw is scheduled to be held on September 10th at Oasis Mall, East Riffa in Bahrain and September 11th at Oasis Mall, in Dubai. Lucky winners from the UAE will be treated to three prizes where 1st prize is valued DHS 45,000, 2nd at DHS 30,000 and 3rd at DHS 25,000. While winners from Bahrain will receive BHD 2,500 as 1st prize, BHD 1,500 as 2nd and BHD 1,000 for the 3rd prize!
