Dubai: June 14, 2015: A selection of sports cars from British luxury automotive brand Aston Martin are set to feature in the forthcoming Middle Eastern TV drama series Al Arrab - Nadi Al Sharq (The Godfather - The Orient Club).
The cars will make a number of appearances throughout the new series created by Clacket Media Productions.
The brand’s ultimate GT – the Vanquish – will star alongside the track-inspired Vantage, the timeless DB9 and the luxurious four-door four-seat Rapide S in the forthcoming drama.
The use of the sports cars marks a first collaboration in the region with Clacket Media Productions and underscores Aston Martin’s desire to continue to raise its profile in the important Middle East market.
A Memorandum of Understanding relating to the activity was signed by the two companies at Aston Martin's showroom in Dubai in the presence of Neil Slade, Aston Martin's General Manager in the MENA region; Iyad Al Najjar, founder of Clacket Media Productions; and Alaa Oghly, Managing Director of Khuyoul Marketing Solutions.
Series star Bassem Yakhour expressed his delight with the agreement and the chance to see Aston Martin sports cars in the drama. He said: “A thrilling series such as this deserves to have thrilling Aston Martin sports cars in it.”
Neil Slade said: “We are proud to see our cars featured in the production of such an important drama here in the Middle East which is the perfect platform to showcase Aston Martin.”
