Al-Futtaim Motors welcomes two Special Edition Land Cruisers to the 60th anniversary line-up

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 13 June, 2015: Building on the success of the limited edition Al-Futtaim Motors 60^th anniversary vehicles, and following the unprecedented success of the FJ Xtreme launched in 2014, Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota in the UAE, announced the launch of two new Toyota cars, the 4.6-litre V8 Toyota Land Cruiser and the all-new 5.7-litre V8 Land Cruiser Xtreme, limited to just 60 production units in celebration of the occasion.

Describing the new additions to the 60^th anniversary line-up, Jon Williams, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Motors, said: “We have seen tremendous response from customers over the 60^th anniversary limited editions, which we initially offered in eight different vehicles, including the 4.0-litre Land Cruiser. The two new additions bring even more value to customers, and the extremely limited production of 60 vehicles for the Land Cruiser Xtreme is the crowning jewel of our 60^th anniversary line-up.”

The 4.6-litre V8 Land Cruiser comes with a host of new add-ons, limited to the 60th anniversary edition, including front bumper lip spoiler with day time running lights (DRLs), roof spoiler with chrome insert, chrome roof rails, rear bumper spoiler with dual chrome garnish, 9’’ navigation screen with CD/DVD/AUX/USB/Bluetooth and rear seat entertainment in addition to rear view camera and blind spot detection for added safety and convenience.

The 5.7-litre Land Cruiser Xtreme stands head and shoulders above the crowd and is distinctly designed with performance in mind. It is now available with Door mirrors, side molding, back door trim, roof rails, 20" alloy wheels all black painted, in addition to fender flares, smoked led tail lights, FOX suspension, and a hood scoop to name just a few additions.

Last year, Al-Futtaim Motors launched FJ Cruiser Xtreme, a true personification of Waku Doki, Japanese for adrenaline rush, adding to the already fun-to-drive characteristics of the car.

The Xtreme badge earns its name by delivering an extreme off-road and desert driving experience, which eclipses the already legendary performance of both the FJ Cruiser and Land Cruiser.
