Ibi Mania to debut 'Mystery and Mischief' at Yalla Laughs on 2nd June, 2015.

Blindfold, rope, knife. What looks like a kidnapper's starter pack is actually Ibi Mania's prop list for his upcoming performance at Yalla Laughs comedy club in Abu Dhabi. The show takes place at Barosa in Ramada (Near the Abu Dhabi Mall). The act itself has been kept under wraps but there have been a few hints towards "pick pocketing demonstrations", "impossible escapes" and "metal swallowing".

This would be Ibi's first ever performance under his newly built brand "Ibi Mania Presents" which describes his performance as a combination of "Mystery and Mischief".  Erik Thornquist, Yalla Laughs co-founder and regular performer/MC at the comedy night, described Ibi saying "(He is) the best young comic I have seen in Abu Dhabi".

“Magic tricks and comedy go well together. I think the audience will enjoy it and there will hopefully be some willing volunteers for Ibi's tricks. We generally get a fun friendly audience who enjoy our nights when they offer more than just comedy” said Jonathan Boulton, Yalla Laughs co-founder.

Yalla Laughs is a biweekly comedy night in Abu Dhabi where Ibi Mania has performed his comedy act twice. "I like the audience, I think those are exactly the type of people I would want to take the first glimpse of Mystery and Mischief" Ibi stated.

Ibi will be the first in a lineup of local performers. "I will have ten minutes to showcase everything my hour-long show has to offer, but on the plus side, If I mess up, there will be other performers to save the night".

Comics performing include Dubai Laughing co-founder Ray Addison among other regional favorites.

"All I can say is, if you're in the audience, you'll have more to do with the show than a traditional magic show" you have been warned.
