Khalid Al Araj, the minister of civil services inaugurates third edition of Saudi Health today

May 19, 2015: Under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the Minister of Health, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and on behalf of H.E, the minister of civil services, Mr. Khalid Al Araj, inaugurated (Monday, May 18, 2015) the Saudi Health 2015, the country’s largest healthcare event, in the presence of senior government officials, important delegates, and industry professionals. The event, which runs until May 20, 2015 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition, will showcase a wide range of innovative healthcare solutions by over 350 exhibitors in an exhibition area of more than 8,000 sqm.
Saudi Health 2015 will host 11 country pavilions, 350 exhibitors, and 18 exhibiting countries all set to welcomes more than 13,000 delegates and visitors. The event will be a meeting hub for healthcare professionals, medical services providers, health insurance companies, medical technicians, pharmacists, and drug manufacturers. Saudi Health will also host Continuing Medical Education (CME)-accredited conferences to provide an in-depth knowledge about the industry’s prevailing and future trends.

The Government of His Highness, the custodian of the two holly mosques, King Salman “God Bless him” is giving the health sector huge importance and support, in other words a huge sum of the budget has been allocated to the health sector. I have also seen that this year the Saudi health exhibition is witnessing a huge development in the number of visitors and exhibitors, in addition to various new products and we have seen exhibitors from USA and Canada and Germany, which convey the importance of the Saudi market. I also wish that next the Saudi health will also develop.” Said, Mr. Khalid Al Araj, the minister of civil services.
An official from REC, said: “Saudi Health 2015 opened amidst tremendous response from visitors eager to learn more about the rapid advancements made by the healthcare industry. The show will continue to engage attendees through a series of enlightening conferences and workshops that will help in enhancing the skills and knowledge of the country’s healthcare professionals. We are upbeat that Saudi Health will be a perfect platform for the exchange of knowledge, international best practices, and next-generation medical equipments.”
Saudi Health 2015 is supported by the Saudi Board for Accreditation of Health Care Institutions (CBAHI), the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, the Radiological Society of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Heart Association, the Saudi Scientific Society Biomedical Engineering, the Saudi Medical Physics Society, the Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Humanitarian Society, King Fahad Medical City, and the Saudi Society of Medical Radiologic Technology. The exhibition serves as a venue for the participants to learn, network, and create business opportunities.
