16 May 2015 - ETA Facilities Management (FM) has revealed that it will deliver a master class on smart FM for smart cities as part of its participation in the upcoming FM EXPO 2015, the latest edition of the only dedicated FM exhibition in the Middle East. To be held during FM EXPO’s opening day on May 18, 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the master class to be conducted by ETA FM’s CEO Dr. Hayan Sayed will shed light on modern smart technologies and latest innovative smart solutions that cater to the industry. Dr. Sayed will also join other industry leaders in a high-level panel discussion scheduled on the same day. FM EXPO 2015 will run until May 20, 2015.
Dr. Sayed’s master class comes at a time when the GCC is ramping up its smart transformation initiatives and sustainability efforts to further accelerate the region’s growth and development. His lecture will also focus on solutions aided by cutting-edge technologies and how they revolutionize the way FM services are being delivered today. Dr. Sayed will emphasize as well the need to upgrade human skills required to achieve and sustain a smart city.
Dr. Sayed said: “As the exhibition’s Smart FM Sponsor, we will take this opportunity to share my insights with the participants about the relevance of smart FM solutions in today’s setting. Smart FM leads to numerous benefits for both owners and tenants. Our solution integrates crucial FM processes and analytics to help keep track of important asset information. Additionally, it centralizes and coordinates workplace management processes, among others. I will discuss these subjects and more during my lecture.”
He will also join other regional FM leaders in a panel discussion titled ‘Balancing Innovation, Sustainability and Operational Efficiency to deliver Real Value for Money in the FM Sector.’ The panellists will illustrate ways to reduce risk and performance issues through higher quality investments and the role of facilities managers in retaining tenants and increasing an asset’s value. They will talk about advancing best practices and international standards in the Gulf region and determining an efficient framework to monitor and measure standards and practices.
FM EXPO 2015 will serve as a platform for ETA FM, the exhibition’s Smart FM Sponsor, to highlight its capabilities and boost its efforts to position the company as a leading FM provider in the region. It will showcase its wide range of cutting-edge integrated services, generate new valuable leads and gain the latest market insights during its participation. The company will also take the opportunity to expand its regional and global networks by meeting with key industry leaders, decision makers, and current and prospective clients.
“This year’s FM Expo will help us to strategically communicate our key messages to our target clients. We aim to promote our brand as the only provider of innovative and integrated FM services in the region. Additionally, the exhibition will be an ideal venue for ETA Facilities Management to promote its full and comprehensive smart FM services in line with our commitment to incorporate the most advanced technologies into our services to attain the highest level of customer satisfaction,” he said.
“Moreover, joining the exhibition this year will serve as a model for our future participation in other relevant events. We look forward to fruitful interaction and meaningful exchange with exhibitors and visitors during the show’s three-day run. We hope to gain a valuable return on investments and close new contracts and deals,” he added.
FM Expo 2015 will gather key FM players at the regional and global levels under one roof in Dubai to address all aspects of the industry and open up new relevant business opportunities for all participants. Showcasing many features this year, the event will allow ETA Facilities Management to take a closer look at current and emerging trends that will help the company establish a strong market presence.
