ESC's 70 IT member delegation in Japan for WIN WIN synergy @ Japan IT week — 13 to 15 May 2015

Dubai, 10th May, 2015 - Building Partnerships for creating WIN WIN synergy is our Motto. India and Japan are committed to deepening and expanding their trade and investment ties.  The ESC’s IT delegation comprising of 70 small and medium entrepreneurs exhibiting at JAPAN IT WEEK 2015 during 13 to 15 May 2015 at Tokyo, Japan, will assist to strike business ventures, marketing tie-ups strategic partnerships with Japanese industry will act as a catalyst to further strengthen bilateral economic relations particularly in the IT sector.

The participating Indian IT companies from across India are displaying a world of IT innovations in several Halls at the event including WEB & MOBILE, IO2/M2M, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, CLOUD COMPUTING, SECURITY, EMBEDDED TECHNOLOGY, etc.

Out of 70 Indian companies participating  at Japan IT Week 2015, 7 companies including Dream Team Technology, Embart, Intellisys and several other Indians companies  are having very good business in the Middle East and will be participating in GITEX Dubai. ESC is of the view that Indian IT Industry today is looking in a big way in doing IT business, both with Japan and Middle East as both the regions have mutual trust and business co-operation with Indian IT companies, informed Mr Kamal Vachani, Regional Director, ESC, Middle East.

The Japanese trade with India has also been growing at an astonishing pace.  Japan, a market-oriented economy is characterized by a high level of foreign trade Thus the organising of  high powered delegation of ESC’s smart and moving IT services entrepreneurs is another feather to the long list of ESC’s initiatives to strengthen India’s IT trade with Japan. The visiting Indian ESC IT delegation has very innovative ICT products & services to offer. The conglomeration of Indians and the Japanese can create WIN WIN synergies for both sides as well as sprinkle surprises in creating niches in neighbouring countries too says Mr Kamal Vachani, Regional Director, ESC, Middle East.

The resilient Indian IT industry graph looks to be on a higher growth trajectory in the ongoing fiscal and likely to gain further momentum in the coming fiscal. Going ahead from a phase of 2 or 3 tumultuous years, the Indian IT industry now  is consolidating operations to post a healthy export growth says  Mr Kamal Vachani. India’s IT exports graph was estimated to be USD 98 billion in 2014-15.

Today, the Indian IT industry including the small & medium ones are diversifying  its services offerings to analytics, mobility, cloud, social media and emerging verticals such as healthcare, medical devices,  business process management, engineering, R&D, internet and mobility and software products. The wide use of internet and mobile applications are enabling the development of low- cost products not only for enterprises, but also consumes and citizens, asserts Mr D K Sareen, Executive Director, ESC.

Over the years the growth drivers for this sector have been the verticals of manufacturing, telecommunication, insurance, banking, finance and of late the fledgling retail revolution. As the new scenario unfolds it is getting clear that the future growth of IT and ITeS will be fuelled by the verticals of climate change, mobile applications, healthcare, energy efficiency and sustainable energy.

To further strengthen the IT relations between India and Japan, the Council, as in the past, will be inviting a large delegation from Japan  to visit India for INDIA IT SHOW, the largest IT global networking event in India in 2016. Around 500 software & services buyers from over 75 countries will be present at this business-to-business (B2B) partnering forum from  USA, UK, Europe, Middle East, Japan, China, Korea, Latin America, Africa, CIS, ASEAN region etc.
