Dubai, 23rd April 2015: Dubai team won the cup at the DUBAI-MUSCAT Golf Challenge held over two days at Emirates Golf Club. Dubai scored a total of 17 points whereas Muscat scored a total of 8 points, resulting in the Dubai team emerging as the tournament winner. The event sponsored by TRIGON GULF had 12 golfers participating from each side with Ms. Sanjoli Singh captaining Muscat team and Mr. Moshe Kohle captaining the Dubai team.
The tournament had 6 pairs on each side with a total of 12 players spread over two days. During Day 1, Dubai had four winning pairs scoring a total of 9 points whereby Muscat had 2 winning pairs scoring a total of 4 points. On Day 2 Dubai maintained the lead with four winning pairs making 9 points and Muscat maintained their two winning pairs on Day 2 with 4 points. The Dubai team won against Muscat team making a total of 19 points against 8 points by scored by Muscat.
The cup was handed over to the winning team at a prize giving ceremony post the tournament. The next leg of the tournament is scheduled to be held in Muscat during November 2015.
