April 21, 2015: Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX), the Middle East’s longest running student sourcing event, is poised to launch its Abu Dhabi edition tomorrow (Wednesday, April 22, 2015) at the Beach Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi. Running until April 24, 2015, GETEX Abu Dhabi aims to support the emirate’s efforts to provide quality higher education and professional training and development programs for its expanding local and expatriate population. Nearly 5,000 learners from around the capital are expected to attend the event which will feature over 60 education providers from 12 countries looking to recruit students from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain for their September 2015 intake.
GETEX Abu Dhabi integrates with GETEX Dubai and the International Universities Networking Conference (IUNC) Middle East & Africa to collectively address the UAE’s growing demand for quality higher academic and occupational education.
Anselm Godinho, Managing Director, International Conferences and Exhibitions (IC&E), organizer of GETEX, said: “The UAE is rapidly emerging as a global hub for higher education with many renowned international educational institutions and universities setting up colleges or campuses in the country. Through GETEX Abu Dhabi, we are enabling education providers to come face-to-face with potential students looking for greater opportunities in higher education. We are confident that GETEX Abu Dhabi will be as successful as its counterpart, GETEX Dubai, and support the emirate’s ambitious higher education strategies.”
GETEX Abu Dhabi will lay the groundwork for educational institutes and professional training providers to boost their student enrollment target by increasing their market visibility through its unique format.
