Kellogg teams up with Disney to bring magic to breakfast time with Frozen

•    New cereal from Kellogg’s is inspired by Disney’s Frozen and features the much loved characters on pack
•    Ent-ICE-ing vanilla flavoured snowball and snowflake shapes made with wholegrain, which are high in fibre, and contain nine essential vitamins and minerals

April 19, 2015, UAE- Kellogg and Disney have teamed up to bring a sprinkle of Frozen magic to the breakfast table with the launch of a new cereal offering. The Kellogg’s Disney Frozen Cereal is set to add some fun and sparkle to morning times across Lebanon, UAE, Kuwait, KSA, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Oman, Iraq and provide your family with a nutritious and happy start to the day.

As the first meal of the day, a well-balanced breakfast is key to delivering the essential nutrients that children require in the morning. Now, the region’s legions of Frozen fans can enjoy a delicious, healthy bowl of cereal, containing three grains – rice, oats, and maize – for breakfast. The Kellogg’s Disney Frozen Cereal is low in fat, so you can get the nutrition you want plus the taste that kids enjoy. 

The cereal is high in fibre – a key nutrient for a balanced diet that many children don’t consume enough of. It is also rich in six Vitamins B: thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), vitamins B6 and B12 – which help release energy1 – and Folic Acid (B9), which helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. It also contains Vitamin D and Calcium, two nutrients needed for healthy bones2. Lastly, the Kellogg’s Disney Frozen Cereal is rich in iron, a mineral that is essential to the normal function of the immune system.

The Kellogg’s Disney Frozen cereal, which is made with wholegrain, was created specifically to meet Disney’s nutritional guidelines. In 2006, Disney became the first major global media company to establish clear nutritional guidelines as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to developing healthier foods for children using its brands and characters.

The Kellogg’s Disney Frozen cereal will be available in stores beginning in the UAE from Mid April 2015 and its arrival on shelves coincides with the launch of Frozen Fever, Disney’s new animated short. Frozen Fever tells the story of Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but when Elsa catches a cold, her powers may put more than just the party at risk.
