Molton Brown, London’s fragrance experts, unveil their blossoming new scent – a reflection of tranquility, serenity and femininity inspired by a Sichuan goddess. This authentic floral fragrance is introduced in an eau de toilette and complemented by the bath & shower gel, body lotion and hand cream.  

The scent captures the essence of the beautiful goddess Semo, who was presented with a mirror by a mountain deity mesmerised by her loveliness. She accidently dropped the enchanted mirror and it shattered into 114 shards which then magically transformed into 114 glittering azure lakes in Sichuan.  

Captivated by the tale, the London-based scent connoisseurs have chosen this breathtaking location’s most beloved and precious ingredients. Honeysuckle, the scent of which intensifies at nightfall, blossoms with narcotic, nectar-sweet aromas that charm with an intoxicating character. This is uniquely balanced with exquisite, gentle white tea - an ingredient which reflects Molton Brown’s love of seeking out the world’s rarest fragrances. Revered within the Chinese Song Dynasty’s royal court’s tea ceremony, only the finest tea buds are handpicked in early spring.  

The scent’s creator Shyamala Maisondieu of fragrance house Givaudan comments, “Blossoming Honeysuckle & White Tea is a truly sensual fragrance capturing the timeless innocence of white florals with the rare elegance of white tea.”  

Leading the collection is the eau de toilette, delicately constructed with natural notes for a complex, sophisticated and enduring fragrance. This intricate scent features top notes of zesty mandarin softened by a floral heart of silky honeysuckle, white tea and jasmine flower which float on the embracing warmth of sandalwood and creamy heliotrope.  

To reflect the beauty and grace of this floral scent, the bath & shower gel and body lotion bottles are decorated with a hand drawn illustration of a honeysuckle petal in bloom. The collection is also available in beautiful gift sets, presented in Molton Brown’s British-made, soft lilac box embellished with their elegant, signature knot.
