MANAMA, Bahrain, 15th February, 2015: SANS Institute brings world-renowned cyber security training to Bahrain this coming May. SANS training will be delivered across five or six days in classroom format, led by US-based Instructors who themselves are respected security practitioners as well as expert teachers.
SANS Bahrain 2015 will host two vital SANS training courses offering essential education around security and ICS/SCADA environments. The event is open to residents of any nation; however Bahraini nationals can apply for funding for training via the Tamkeen Professional Certifications Scheme. In addition, students registering and paying before March 18th will also save $500 on course fees.
SANS Instructor Ted Demopolous leads SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style. This 6 day course is the most popular SANS training course globally and is designed for anyone looking to truly develop the understanding and skillset needed to work as an Information Security professional.
Also running at SANS Bahrain is SANS’ dedicated ICS/SCADA security course, ICS410: ICS/SCADA Security Essentials. Led by SANS Instructor Justin Searle this 5 day course has been developed to provide a foundational set of standardized skills and knowledge for industrial cybersecurity professionals.
