KPMG wins Best Audit Services Firm at Annual MENA Fund Manager Fund Services Awards for third time

•    Awards drew record number of entries this year – Over 40 companies across 19 categories
•    Award recognises KPMG’s deep understanding of the Global Fund Management Industry

Dubai, 28 January 2015: KPMG continued its exceptional track record at the prestigious MENA Fund Manager Fund Services Awards 2015 in Dubai yesterday which paid tribute to the service providers who have shaped the MENA fund industry. 

The annual event, held this year at the Ritz-Carlton DIFC, was hosted by TV presenter and radio broadcaster Tom Urquhart. The awards drew a record number of entries as more than 40 companies battled across 19 categories.  

Facing stiff competition from the other Big Four professional services firms, KPMG took top honours in the Best Audit Services. This was the third year running KPMG has walked away with the prize following success in 2014 and 2013. 

Luke Ellyard, Financial Services Partner and Head of Investment Management for KPMG Lower Gulf said: “We are delighted to receive this award on behalf of our audit practices in the MENA region. The companies shortlisted for the awards were announced in early December and the judging panel comprised representatives from MENA Fund Manager, leading institutional and private investors and industry experts. Each member of the judging panel had an equal vote in choosing the winners in each category and the judging decisions were based on performance as well as qualitative and structural criteria.
