Veronika Vera: The Queen of Fashion Photography To Shoot ‘The Wedding Fair' at The Ajman Palace Hotel

There are few photographers as good as Veronika Vera at shooting glamorous photographs. A career in modeling has given Veronika Vera an intense and original eye as a fashion photographer. And she is the one who will be photographing models at the bridal fashion show during The Wedding Fair at The Ajman Palace Hotel on February 12.

The two-day expo is being promoted as the biggest hotel wedding exhibition in the Northern Emirates and is being organised under the Kind Patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Qassimi. The event will take place at the hotel’s magnificent ‘Al Saalah’ Ballroom on 12th and 13th February and will bring together over 50 leading brands and designers specialized in catering to high-end weddings.

We believe she will capture this event in the most glamorous and exceptional manner."

Born in the Czech Republic, Veronika is one of Dubai's busiest and most popular fashion and portrait photographers. Graceful and charming, she began her career as a model facing the camera but today she spends most of her time behind the camera. "I work 14 to 16 hours a day," she stated. "I work most Fridays and Saturdays, and I love it. It is truly exciting. Every time a new face, a new designer... I can't get enough of it. For me fashion is one big playground, a place to experiment".

While shooting Veronika follows her instincts. What is striking about her images is that the clothes and the models are mere props of her imagination. She effortlessly mixes glossiness with photographic surrealism to produce absolutely stunning photographs. "To me, photography is about vivid colours and strong contrasts of light and dark. In recent times fashion photography has evolved from a platform for showcasing clothes to a playground for something far more experimental. And I enjoy that freedom".

During the bridal show at The Ajman Palace Hotel, Veronika will be focusing as much on the dresses as on the models. Veronika stressed, "Ideally speaking, there should be a balance of both. However, the first thing people want to look at is the dresses, so it is important to get those details. My aim is to capture the show in the most unique way".
