Indian national starts off the New Year on the right foot and walks away with AED 5 million cash prize

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, January 6, 2015:34 year old Gulzar Shaikh from Goa, India, was left speechless when a call from Duty Free Shoppers (DFS) announced the news that she was the winner of the ‘Ultimate Big Ticket’– the region’slargest ever cash drawwith AED 5 million grand prize.

“I am truly amazed. All I can say is that this is certainly a real surprise, a great start to the New Year”, said the lucky winner once she was told she was now a millionaire.

In addition to the small fortune awarded to the main winner,the ‘Ultimate Big Ticket’ competition, launched last December by Abu Dhabi Duty Free (ADDF) and managed by Duty Free Shoppers (DFS), also gave away 14 additional prizes totalling AED 500,000.
