The Bank’s Private Banking arm supported fundraising initiative during Dubai’s International Film Festival
United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 24th December 2014: Mashreq, a leading financial institution in the UAE, was a proud sponsor of the second edition of The Global Gift Gala, hosted by Dubai International Film Festival and Dubai Cares. The Global Gift Gala is a unique international fundraising initiative in support of Dubai Cares, the Eva Longoria Foundation, Sunrise K’ Foundation and the Global Gift Foundation. This grand event focused on creating a positive impact on the lives of children, women and families.
The exclusive gala evening was held in Dubai on December 14, 2014 at WHITE Dubai and chaired by actress, activist and philanthropist Eva Longoria as Honorary Chair.
Commenting on the award, Ayman AbuHabsa, Head of Private Banking, Mashreq said: “We were very proud and honored to be able to offer our sponsorship to what we believe is an important cause. The event was widely acknowledged as being a resounding success; it provided an excellent opportunity to fundraise and to create a positive impact on the lives of women and children.
