King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital Achieves HIMSS EMR Adoption Model Stage 6 Using InterSystems TrakCare

Dubai, UAE (22 December 2014) – King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH)  was recognised for achieving Stage 6 on the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s (HIMSS) Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM).

HIMSS’ independent validation recognised that the hospital met all of the criteria for a Stage 6 hospital in the deployment and use of clinical information technology and advanced safety features to further enhance the quality of patient care.

The Stage 6 Award Ceremony took place at the HIMSS Middle East Integrated Health Innovations Conference & Exhibition on December, 2014 at the Ritz Carlton (DIFC) Hotel in Dubai.
