Freshy adjudged as the ‘Best Innovative Refreshing Dairy Drink’

Rainbow Milk, the major brand of FrieslandCampina Middle East, part of Royal FrieslandCampina- one of the largest dairy- cooperative in the world, today announced that Freshy, the recently launched natural flavored dairy drink has won the Middle East’s Beverage Award in Dairy Drink category at the Arab- Asian Alliance (AABA) Awards. The prestigious ceremony witnessed the presence of various VIP guests, nominees, AABA Members, DDTE Exhibitors and Industry Professionals.

The ‘Best Innovative Refreshing Dairy Drink’ Award win highlights Freshy as being the unique drink that combines the fruit flavors and milk with a slight tangy twist which helps in refreshing. Freshy is a great example of aligning international concepts to local preferences and habits. The new healthy drink adds to the choices offered by FrieslandCampina in dairy drinks with less sugar, extra calcium and special bacteria that support intestinal flora.

AABA announced the awards at a gala dinner held yesterday at Al Muraaj Rotana for the most favourite drinks in the Middle East Region. The award ceremony was held in conjunction with the Dubai Drink Technology Expo and in cooperation with Index Conferences and Exhibitions – member of INDEX Holding. The beverage sector is a vital sector and these awards contribute in creating a new direction for the consumers by identifying the best brands.

Freshy is available in 2 flavors, orange and strawberry, and comes in unique sterilized Tetra pack cartons, which are practical in design for better storage. The product is available at various stores across the region.
