Hair colouring is an age-old practice of altering the natural shade of hair using a dye or colour to cover greys, restore original hair colour, or change to a more desirable or trendy tinge. More prevalent among women, it has become an immensely popular cosmetic trend today with many colouring techniques available such as highlighting, lowlighting, splashlighting, and foiling, among many others. The markets are flooded with a wide range of hair colouring products for permanent, semi-permanent, temporary, and alternative applications.
While colouring provides a new tint to hair for a fresher, different and distinct look, prolonged use of chemical-based hair colour can make hair coarse, brittle, dry and more prone to breakage. Sensing the need for a natural hair colour that is not only effective, but also protects against damage, Vatika introduced its Henna Hair Colour powder range. Henna (Lawsonia inermis) is a flowering plant that is traditionally used to dye skin, fingernails and fabric. Deeply rooted in Middle Eastern cultural traditions, henna is also used as a natural conditioner, cleanser, coolant and dye for hair.
Made from pure henna extracts, Vatika Henna Hair Colour is gentle on hair, as it does not contain ammonia. It offers 100 per cent grey coverage while colouring and conditioning the hair to leave them soft, silky and shiny. Available in four different shades – Natural Black, Natural Brown, Dark Brown, and Burgundy – Vatika Henna Hair Colour powder imparts a completely natural colour to tresses. The colouring process is easy and can be done within the comforts of home. Simply mix the sachet into water to form a smooth, lump-free mixture and apply from roots to tips. Leave the mixture for 30 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water without using shampoo.
One packet of Vatika Henna Hair Colour contains six 10-gram sachets, applicator brush, and gloves along with a detailed instruction leaflet to ensure a perfect colouring experience.
