DHA announces timings of health care facilities during the 43nd National Day public holidays

Dubai, United Arab emirates, December 1, 2014:  The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced today the working hours for the DHA administration, hospitals, primary health centres and medical fitness centres during the 43nd UAE National Day public holidays.

Timing of DHA hospitals:  DHA Hospitals ( Rashid, Latifa, Dubai and Hatta) will work as per shift timings and medical practitioners will be on call to ensure work continues as usual.

The emergency departments of  all DHA hospitals will be functional round-the-clock on all days.

Outpatient and specialist clinics will be closed from the 2nd of December and will reopen on Sunday, 7th December. Outpatient clinic at Hatta hospital will be open on from Dec 2 to Dec 4, from 8 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 9 pm.

Timings of primary healthcare centres (PHCs):

Nad Al Hamar and Al Barsha health centres will  function 24 hours on all days.

The Al Lusaily health centre will be open from  8 am to 3 pm.

All other primary healthcare centres and the Family Gathering Centre will be closed from the 2nd of December and will reopen on Sunday, the 7th of December.

Medical Fitness Centres

Al Muhaisnah medical fitness centre will be closed on Tuesday, the 2nd of December and will be open on the 3rd and 4th December from 8am to 1 pm.

All other DHA medical fitness centres will remain closed from the 2nd of December and will reopen on the 7th of December.
