…With fun activities for the family
To celebrate this year’s National Day, Fortnum & Mason is hosting a 5-day extravaganza in store for friends and family to enjoy.
The top floor of Fortnum’s Dubai, The Parlour, will transform into a fun arena of activity stations to include; face painting, decorate your own flag-shaped biscuits, design your own National Day sundae, UAE tea tasting, red lemonade classes, Brilliant Balloon Master Show and a Fortnum’s UAE pop up photo booth. In addition, the very lucky 43rd visitor to step inside the store on 2nd December will win a beautiful Fortnum & Mason hamper worth AED2000.
To commemorate this special occasion, Fortnum’s has developed an exclusive Dubai Blend Tea. The ingredients are carefully selected to encompass the regions favourite flavours of Rose and Peppermint, and are a modern, luxurious twist on Dubai’s traditional ‘Chai Nana.’ This heady but refreshing tea is ideal after dinner, served without milk or chilled and sweetened for an iced alternative.
As an added pleasure, Fortnum’s Rose-flavoured Turkish Delight boxes have been wrapped in National Day themed packaging, along with a variety of beautiful National Day Hampers that have been inspired by the UAE Flag. So whether you prefer to build your own bespoke hamper, or pick one of the new National Day offerings, Fortnum & Mason has something truly special to honour this year’s 43rd UAE National Day.
Commenting on the occasion, Jonathan Knight, the CEO of Al Khayyat Investments’ Retail Division said, “The UAE National Day is an event that is greatly anticipated by every single person in this great nation. Each resident of the UAE celebrates National Day with great enthusiasm and we, at Fortnum’s are thrilled to be able to do our bit in marking this special day. Tea is an ingrained part of Arab culture and we thought it would be fitting to pay homage to National Day by developing an exclusive Dubai Blend of tea for a very special nation.”
Make sure you celebrate the UAE’s 43rd National Day with Fortnum’s exciting National Day activities and unique offerings.
*Fortnum’s activities will commence on Friday 28th of November until National Day, Tuesday 2nd December, from 10.00am-14.00pm daily.
