National Pride Art & Culture Exhibition a celebration of Arabic Architecture, Poetry, Music & Arts at Barjeel Heritage Guest House

Dubai, 24th November 2014 Barjeel Heritage Guest House offers residents of the UAE an authentic Emirati experience to celebrate National week with the National Pride Art & Culture Exhibition this Saturday  29th of November; starting from 11:30am till 9:00pm. The Guesthouse houses an exclusive restaurant – Barjeel Al Arab that boasts Dubai’s finest emirati cuisine with a special Brunch every Friday and Saturday. The venue offers the visitors the opportunity to enjoy the Arab hospitality and appreciate Dubai’s historical retreats.

Habib Khan - GM of Barjeel Heritage Guest House explains “We welcome initiatives that support emerging talent & local artists in the region; hosting National Pride Art & Culture Exhibition was welcomed at Barjeel; since it is one of the few venues left in Dubai that has retained & preserved the Arabic culture and heritage; not only in its architecture but also in its hospitality.”

On Saturday the 29th of November, the exhibition starts from 11:30am till 9:00pm showcasing Artworks, Fashion apparel, Baked treats, Book, Jewelry & Henna designs.

At the 3:30pm all Yoga enthusiasts can get a FREE session of meditation & relaxation by Yoga Guru Sucheta Chada then at 6:00pm the visitors can enjoy Poetry reading sessions by Local Poets; Fatema Raj, Minakhee Mishra & Ray Iyer. From 7:30pm onwards the evening will conlcude with live performing Artists paying tribute to the UAE. The performing Artists include, Kim Oberoi, Painter – Doodle Artist; Ian Tocle, Yasmina Alidodova, Sheika Estarija Ritualo & Andre Caicedo will be on the vocals; Van Wendell Dimaano & Diverse Dance Group will perform an exclusive dance routine & Adarsh Govindan will be on the Drums.

National Pride Art & Culture Exhibition is a FREE entry event, open to general public.
