Habtoor Grand Unveils Afternoon Detox Retreat on the Beach on Saturday 22 November

Unwind and strengthen the body and mind on Saturday 22nd November with an afternoon of yoga and Pilates complete with detox juices
Dubai, 20 November 2014 – For one day only, guests and visitors are invited to the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa for the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of pure relaxation on the beach as the five-star resort hosts yoga and Pilates classes.
This Saturday 22nd November from 12.30pm, participants will be welcomed on Jumeirah Beach with a refreshing detox juice before their one-hour Pilates class followed by a re-energising juice break. Headed up by Recreation Manager Alison Stockton and with the help of qualified trainer Andrea Finszter, who collectively have more than 15 years combined Pilates experience, the intensive session will be suitable for all levels.
From 2.30pm Anya Belik will conduct a 90-minute Vinyasa yoga session aimed at transforming the body and mind using physical, mental and spiritual practice.
Alison Stockton, Recreation Manager, explained: “I studied with the Pilates Institute of London for many years and directly with Pilates guru Michael King himself. I’m excited to put my knowledge and experience into place with those joining us.”
“Andrea will be joining me during the Pilates session, bringing her five years’ expertise, while yoga fanatic Anya has recently travelled across Asia certifying in a variety of Yoga techniques,” continued Stockton.
To close the day and provide the perfect post-workout refuel, all participants are invited to enjoy detox juice sundowners from 4.15pm onwards at Salamar, Habtoor Grand’s Cuban bar.
The detox retreat on the beach on 22nd November starts at 12.30pm and costs AED350 per person with a discounted price for members and hotel guests. Participants are requested to bring their own yoga mat. Please call 04 408 4260 to book your place.
