Sarum warriors conquer war7!

(Dubai, UAE) November 15, 2014 - A team of five from SARUM united to form the “SARUM Warriors” led by founder Susan Gorman. After months of preparation and vigorous training sessions together, the team took to the battlefield on Saturday 8 November at Wadi Adventure Park in Al Ain to compete in the ultimate “WAR7” challenge. The race includes a 10km run as well as 26 gruelling obstacles. A race designed for “the brave” the ladies ran alongside royalty and some of the most talented athletes in the region! Susan says “it was an amazing experience to have bounced back from having my third baby so quickly. I have loved every minute of training with these ladies; really proud of the girls!” Susan Gorman – Founder of SARUM.

Participating for several reasons, SARUM is proud to have been appointed as the official Sunscreen sponsors of the race. Branded shirts by OTR-Designs in South Africa on behalf of the children at The Teddy Bear Clinic were a privilege for the team to wear across the finish line. Just as SARUM’s award winning brands and team at Sodashi in Australia are sure to include wellness into their daily schedules, SARUM too believes that it is important to include healthy habits and maintain a regular exercise routine to perform at optimum levels in the office.

SARUM would like to thank Lennard Otto and his team at Wadi Adventures for an outstanding race. The comradery on the battle field was outstanding! Fellow participants cheered each other on encouragingly; as SARUM warriors were energised by team spirit not only among themselves but from fellow competitors on the battlefield. As an “all ladies” team, the SARUM WARRIORS are thrilled to have conquered all obstacles including chained walls, muddy leopard crawls, overhead monkey grip acts and braving pitch dark tunnels.
