Aster DM Healthcare launches its first ACCESS Clinic in Sharjah

The budget-model clinic, located in Muwailiah on the University Road, offers free Flu vaccination to 1,000 children from November 8 to 13 at its premises as part of the launch.

DUBAI- November 12, 2014: Aster DM Healthcare, the leading healthcare conglomerate in the Middle East and India, has unveiled its first ACCESS Clinic in the emirate of Sharjah. The facility, located in Muwailiah-Sharjah, is the eleventh in the chain of ACCESS Clinics, a vertical under Aster DM Healthcare, to provide global standard medical services at affordable cost.

ACCESSS Muwailah, is set up on the University Road, opposite old Sharjah Defense Camp, and proximate to Sharjah School Zone; aims to provide quality and affordable healthcare to the neighboring community.

Mr. Nasser Khalifa Al Budoor, Asst Under Secretary International Relations & Health Affairs, Director of HE Minster’s Office - Ministry of Health, inaugurated the facility in the presence of Mr. TJ Wilson, Group Director-Aster DM Healthcare and other senior officials. 

As part of the launch, Aster DM Healthcare will conduct a vaccination campaign offering free flu vaccines to 1,000 children, in addition to free pediatric consultation and diet advice. The vaccination campaign will take place at the ACCESS Muwailiah premises from November 8 to 13, from 9 to 1 in the morning and 4.30 to 9.30 in the evening, on appointment basis.

ACCESS Clinic – Muwailiah will provide affordable and quality primary healthcare services with departments of General Medicine, Gynecology, Dentistry and Paediatrics. Clinical Laboratory services and X-ray facilities would also be available. The Clinic will be functional from 8 am to 11 pm on weekdays, 9 am to 11 am and 4.30 pm to 9.30 pm on Fridays. ACCESS Clinics provide consultation at a nominal fee. The Clinics is also empanelled with all major insurance companies.

Other ACCESS Clinic branches are located in Bur Dubai – Souk Al Kabeer; Dubai Investment Park (DIP) - Ramla Mall; Muhaisina 2 (Sonapur) labour camp; Deira Gold Souk; Deira Naïf Police Station road; Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) South; International City- Morocco Cluster; Al Quoz industrial area, etc.  Upcoming facilities are at Ajman Industrial Area, Persia Cluster of International City, and Sector 2 of Dubai Investment Park in Jebel Ali.
