First Reebok Running Clinic Opens - be part of the Reebok Running Community

UAE: Wednesday 29th October, 2014: Whether you're looking to get into running for the first time, or take your 10K training to marathon distance, make sure you visit the Reebok Running Clinic, the first in the Middle East, being held at The Dubai Mall Reebok store on Thursday 6th November from 2pm - 5pm.  

The open-house event is a complete running exploration session, where people of all abilities, from beginners to seasoned runners, can benefit from the in-store advice provided by fitness professionals UPANDRUNNING, Urban Energy Fitness and the Reebok team. Visitors will also be able to register to join the new Reebok Running Community and be kept up-to-date on the latest running products and technologies by Reebok as well as partner services and events.

At the first Running Clinic we will be providing complimentary foot strike analysis, by UPANDRUNNING, on in-store treadmills, where people will discover how they strike the ground during a run and from this determine the best fitting shoe for their needs. The screening only takes a few minutes, but is invaluable for runners in understanding how and where their weight hits the ground during a run. This can make a huge difference to their footwear choice and ultimately their performance. 
We will also be providing expert advice on the benefits of running and training in a group environment with information and encouragement by Urban Energy Fitness and the Reebok Run Club. Reebok Run Club is dedicated to offering support to people in a fun and friendly way and provides strength training classes, nutritional advice and injury prevention tips for participants in race schedules from 4K to full marathons." continued Mark.  

During the afternoon the Reebok store is set to come alive with state-of-the-art mobile video technology with visitors getting a glimpse of the latest running technologies used to construct the Reebok ONE Series footwear, straight to their mobile phone. With this in mind, Reebok is encouraging people to download OGLE, (free app) from Google Play or Apple App Store and bring their mobile on the day to join in the fun.  

The Reebok Running Clinic is set to be rolled-out in stores across the region during 2014 and 2015 as a continuation of Reebok's vision to develop products, technologies and programmes which enable consumers to live a healthy lifestyle and have fun doing it.
