The S-500 with a V8 biturbo engine delivering a rated output of 455 hp and the S-63 AMG generating a powerful 585 hp are the two marvels at the starting line. An extraordinary element in the vehicle is the new curve tilting function that allows the vehicle to lean into bends in a manner similar to a motorcyclist. This helps the S-Class Coupé glide elegantly through bends. A new, exceptional day and night design is created by the inclusion of fine Swarovski crystals in the LED headlamps adding glamour to the sensational look of the car.

The interior design of the new S-Class Coupé is an enthralling combination of sensuous elements and aerodynamic architecture. The vehicle is also equipped with a Head-up display similar to one in a fighter jet that projects important information on the windscreen within the driver’s scope of vision. Four networked short-range cameras make driving and parking easy with a realistic all-round view and display this 360° perspective on the COMAND Online screen. Various views additionally show guide lines to make parking easier. The functions of Comand Online can be controlled intuitively via the innovative Touchpad that allows all the head-unit functions to be operated using finger gestures. The S-Class Coupé ensures 5 star performance and comfort with outstanding lateral support with a plush driving sensation.

The breathtaking two-door coupé makes driving safer with the semi-autonomous Stop-and-Go assist system that recognizes pedestrians or larger animals and exhibits it on the multifunction display. The air suspension system ensures dynamic handling at a very high level. The Splitview with brilliant picture quality is able to show different content simultaneously on the same display, so the front passenger can enjoy films while the driver keeps an eye on the navigation. The distinct PRESAFE feature is a predictive system installed in the S-Coupe that scans the road ahead with a stereoscopic camera and provides timely alerts and assistance. The S-Class Coupé with its long bonnet, pronounced lines and power domes proves to be an exceptional automotive marvel.  The sporty motoring experience is significantly enhanced by the emotional sound. The exhaust rumbles louder than the S-class sedan despite the fact that it’s the same engine making the same 449 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Extremely low wind noise was a declared objective during the designing stage making the S Class Coupé the world's quietest car in terms of wind noise in its series.
