Sharjah, 30 September 2014: The 12th International Automobile Show is set to witness the launch of a slew of new cars, the debut of the world’s most celebrated supercar brands and a flurry of engaging on-site activities during its four-day run.
 
To be held at Expo Centre Sharjah from November 26 to 29, 2014, the region’s premier auto event will hit the headlines with the debut of more than 10 new super and hypercar brands, including BRABUS, Porsche, Koenigsegg, W Motors and more. 
 
Other big names showcasing their new launches at the show will include Peugeot, Audi, VW, Mini, BMW, Mercedes, Nissan and more. The 12th edition will also see the debut of some of the biggest Chinese automotive majors such as Chery, GAC, BAIC, JAC and more.
 
Since early 2014, expansion trends reveal that new dealership facilities and auto servicing branches have been launched across Sharjah, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah to cater to the existing and new customers in the Northern Emirates. Hence the International Automobile Show plays an important role in promoting these new facilities and in communicating their latest offerings and services to the community.
 
The upcoming International Automobile Show at Expo Centre Sharjah will offer a simple solution to all the challenges which a consumer deals with when purchasing a car. This concept offers visitors a 360 degree shopping experience with services that include finance and insurance packages at lucrative interest rates, test driving facilities and discovering a variety of genuine car parts, accessories and car care services. 
 
“The 12th International Automobile Show promises to be very exciting as there are a lot of new product announcements expected. The show, which is held once in every two years, is perfectly timed to coincide with the launch of new models from across the world. Visitors will experience passenger-seat thrills on a man-made 4x4 track, joining the world of motorcycles at the biker’s zone, exclusive auto test-drive activities and activations created by auto brands, auto gaming competitions with prizes, popular high profile concept cars, raffle draw to win a free high value car and a massive sound and racing competition details of which will be announced soon.
 
This year the show will also host the flagship automotive industry awards, the 5th Middle East Motor Awards (MEMA), which will publicly announce and display all the award-winning cars on Tuesday November 25th 2014. The Middle East Motor Awards (MEMA) is the region’s most prestigious and coveted automotive industry recognition, and will take place at a gala dinner ceremony hosted and organized by Expo Centre Sharjah.
 
The Automobile Show will be open at Expo Centre Sharjah from 3 to 10 pm from 26 to 28 November and from 10 am to 10 pm on Saturday, 29th November. Admission is 30 Dhs. per person per day.
