World-Renowned American Italian Eatery Olive Garden Opens now in Dubai

Promises Genuine American Italian Dining Experience

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Olive Garden, the leading American chain in the Italian dining segment with more than 800 restaurants worldwide, opened its first location in Dubai.

Conveniently located on Sheikh Zayed Road, the 4,360 square-foot restaurant can host up to 130 guests and features a design that is inspired by traditional farmhouses found in Tuscany, Italy. Olive Garden design teams traveled to Italy to work with Italian architects Fabio and Lucia Zingarelli and the result is a restaurant design that recreates the warmth and simple beauty of a Tuscan farmhouse.

The restaurant menu features Italian specialties including signature items such as Tour of Italy, Stuffed Chicken Marsala, Capellini Di Mare, in addition a complementary unlimited quantities of warm, garlic bread sticks and bottomless choice of fresh homemade soups or unlimited garden fresh salads with all entrees. 

The Dubai Olive Garden has a rustic stone exterior, typical of the buildings in the Italian countryside, and an interior accented by Italian imports designed to make the dining experience here a tribute to the restaurant's Italian inspiration. Ceilings supported by exposed wood beams, stone and wood accents throughout, and terra cotta tile highlight the interior along with Italian light fixtures. 

In addition, the non-alcoholic bar top is crafted from lava stone and hand-painted by artisans in Italy with a design created exclusively for Olive Garden.  Vibrant imported fabrics decorate windows and dining seats, while hand-painted plates, adorn rustic stone and stucco walls.

History of brand

Inspired by the truest form of Italian art, food, Bill Darden inaugurated the very first Olive Garden in 1982, with the intention of being able to spread and share the art of food with his diners, with the help of the choicest ingredients, the most delectable flavors, and most notably, its warm, homely hospitality, making Olive Garden the truest Italian experience. It has since grown to over 800 restaurants, each of whose doors are opened to enjoy traditional Italian hospitality and staying true to Bill Darden's vision.

Apart from the restaurants and with the aim of nurturing and spreading the knowledge of this rich Italian art form, Olive Garden established the Olive Garden Culinary Institute of Tuscany. The Italian Chef Council, a group of chefs based in Italy who meet and collaborate with Olive Garden executive chefs. To date, more than 1200 team members have travelled to Tuscany and taken part in this experience.
