Dubai, Tuesday 10th September 2014: The Far East has been in the limelight for the past year or two, thanks to its innovative beauty and healthcare regimes, and for the first time, one of the top, global beauty crazes of the year, Konjac Facial Sponges, from the Konjac Sponge Co., are available in the UAE!
Konjac Facial Sponges have taken the world by storm with a cult, celebrity following including, Victoria Beckham, Angelina Jolie and Miranda Kerr. Unlike harsh chemical cleansers, Konjac sponges, created from the root of the Konjac plant, which grows in South Korea, Japan, China and Indonesia, gently exfoliates the skin and can be used every day for a deep, facial cleanse.
What makes the Konjac Sponge Co.’s sponges amongst the best on the market, is the fact that the sponges, which are available in an array of colours, are infused with natural clays, which provides deep pore cleansing and clarifying, and a variety of other, all-natural ingredients, to provide additional benefits to various skin ailments, such as dehydration and oily, acne prone skin.
The Konjac Sponge Company offers a selection of sponges in a variety of colours:
• Red: Dry, dehydrated skin
• Green: Normal to oily skin
• Pink: Devitalised, tired skin
• Natural: All skin types
• Charcoal: Acne/Spot prone skin
The Konjac Sponge Company also has a number of special purpose sponges available, including Konjac Baby Bath Sponges, Konjac Travel & Sports Sponges and the Konjac Gentlemen’s Sponge.
The Konjac Sponge’s are both kind to you and the environment. Each sponge is made from 100% natural vegetable fibre, which is naturally cleansing, removes water based make-up and is 100% colour free and biodegradable. The sponges are soft and gentle, yet sufficiently exfoliating and PH balanced. Each sponge lasts between 4 to 12 weeks.
The Konjac Sponge Co. sponges are available from September in The Organic Café and Make Up Etc, with more outlets to be announced soon. Prices start from AED 60.
