Modhesh World to host champion Filipino Artists at ‘Kabayan Family Fun Day'

Modhesh World will host a free concert featuring an array of highly talented Filipino artists at ‘Kabayan Family Fun Day’ on 26 August 2014 at 7 pm on the Modhesh Main Stage at Dubai World Trade Centre.

“Kabayan Family Fun Day” is part of the ongoing 15th anniversary celebrations of Modhesh World , which is organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and is aimed at promoting the multicultural appeal of the exciting line-up of experiences, events and activities at the popular family edutainment destination.

In addition to showcasing talented singers, dancers and performers to an audience of expatriate Filipinos, and visitors, the event will also help generate thousands of ‘smiles’ amongst families and children.

“Kabayan Family Fun Day”  will feature the Filipino champions of different international singing competitions such as Philippines Got Talent, ABS-CBN/DZMM Global Pinoy Idol, KIdzania Superstar 2014, Dubai Singing Sensation, Fun City Got Talent, Mc Donalds Star Search 2013, Talentadong Pinoy and Dubai Pinoy Idol plus other surprise guests.

Before and after the concert, visitors to Modhesh World can also enjoy multiple rides, games and attractions such as the Angry Birds Universe, Hello Kitty and Friends Around The World, WWE Interactive Experience, Transformers Interactive Experience, Ice Rink, Ghost Train, Xtreme Ride, Bump Cars, and many more exciting activities. 

Modhesh World is celebrating its 15th edition this year by hosting a wide array of events and experiences in Halls 3-8 at Dubai World Trade Centre. The family edutainment destination will be open until 8 September from 10am to 10pm, Saturday to Wednesday; 10am to midnight on Thursday; 3pm to midnight on Friday. Ticket prices are AED 15 for children and AED 10 for adults, while children below the age of 3 go in for free.
