High ropes puts kids on top of the world at Modhesh World

Children of all ages, at least 1.1 metres in height,  are making a bee-line to a fascinating activity that demonstrates confidence,  courage and wisdom – the High Ropes.

Kids will be walking up high in the air on an arranged pathway made of square chunks and ropes, wearing a secured harness for children’s safety, testing their bravery and wisdom to get done with all the blocks without falling down.  Youssef, a 4-year-old kid, shows his courage as he was carefully walking and performing a balancing act to accomplish the journey. “I couldn’t be more proud of my son, I never force him to go up there and be suspended in the air, although I feel that it is very safe as there is a harness and the attendant is vigilantly watching my son as well, but he is really a brave kid!” Alwhan, father of Youssef, said “Since Modhesh World started, he was constantly asking me to bring him here”.”

The maintenance team tests the High Ropes daily, before they open the attraction to the public. The attraction comes with safety regulations that are strictly  enforced such as the kid’s pocket must be empty, there should be no loose items like phone, camera or eyeglasses, the maximum weight of a participant should be 95 kg and all children should be fit and in healthy condition.

Modhesh World is celebrating its 15th edition this year by hosting a wide array of events and experiences in Halls 3-8 at Dubai World Trade Centre. The region’s popular family edutainment destination will be open until 8 September from 10am to 10pm, Saturday to Wednesday; 10am to midnight on Thursday; 3pm to midnight on Friday.
