Making its debut backstage at Victoria Beckham’s SS14 show, Max Factor Global Creative Design Director, Pat McGrath dressed models’ lips in new Lipfinity Lip Colour in Always Delicate, to create the ultra-polished, understated glamour look. The truest of nude hues, the creamy shade added a sophisticated slick of natural, girlish perfection to the beauty look. Pat describes, “So often I hear women saying they’ve never found the right nude shade as they struggle to find one that has enough colour without being too ‘done’ and which lasts on the lips.  New Lipfinity in Always Delicate truly epitomes the idea of polished perfection; it delivers just the right depth of neutrality and depth; it’s such a soft, creamy and contemporary shade, and with fabulous staying power.”

Modern and fresh, it is part of a new spring/summer collection of Max Factor Lipfinity Lip Colour shades hand-picked by Pat McGrath. The artistry icon’s Ready to Wear Collection was chosen from the new Max Factor Lipfinity Lip Colour line up featuring 20 new gorgeously sumptuous shades; which deliver the same great long wear performance it’s so famed for. Spanning soft petal tones to shocking fuchsias and dark moody berry hues; the super-glossy Lipfinity range now contains a total of 47 inspiring shades, giving you the ability to find a shade to suit you whatever the mood of your glamour statement. 

How does it work?

Unlike other long-wear lipsticks, which can appear dry and dull on the lips, NEW Max Factor Lipfinity delivers long-lasting colour that feels soft and lightweight all day long, whilst still delivering an alluring shine and intense colour hit. This is due in part to the smart new bullet-inspired applicator which, compared to conventional doe-foot applicators, delivers a much thinner, more even layer of colour. Dr Sarah Vickery, Max Factor Principal Scientist, comments, “A thinner, more even layer of colour maximises the long-lasting performance of the lipstick. Because the applicator deposits a more consistent and even layer of lip colour the result is a much more even coverage that will, in turn, lead to a much more even wear.”

That’s not all. Lipfinity’s intelligent formula combines adhesive colour with a silicone basecoat to ensure that there is no transfer of pigment to most types of food and drink – meaning your lip colour stays put all day with no need to reapply after eating or drinking.  

BASE COAT: The highly pigmented base coat contains a combination of adhesive polymers to ensure the colour sticks to your lips and a flexible dimethicone layer that ensures the adhesive element is soft enough to flex as you move your lips
