“Dubai Summer Surprises” Official Guide in Arabic and English

With the aim of offering every resident and visitor from around the world a handy and comprehensive resource on all the events and activities of the 17th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and organizers of DSS, has published the ‘Dubai Summer Surprises Official Guide’ in two languages, English and Arabic.

The 100-page handbook comes with detailed information on the line-up of attractions, events and experiences during this year’s summer extravaganza. The events and activities covered in the DSS Official Guide includes the attractions at Modhesh World – a family-favorite destination, information on the DSS Spa Packages 2014 promotion, information on the key shopping malls and souqs, an overview of other must-visit tourism attractions of the emirate , practical tips on ensuring a smooth stay in Dubai, as well as maps of Dubai and Dubai Metro.

The book opens with a welcome note from Her Excellency, Laila Mohammed Suhail, CEO of DFRE who invites families and individuals to enjoy ‘The Fun Side of Summer’ in Dubai during DSS 2014. Ensuring them of a memorable experience in the city, she lays emphasis on the diverse ensemble of attractions that await guests throughout the exciting summer period, providing something to entice every member of the family to join in the fesitivities.

The Official Guide, which is one of the communication tools being used by DFRE to promote “Dubai Summer Surprises”, has been distributed in several locations across Dubai including the Dubai International Airport, hotels, participating shopping malls, and other high-density areas frequented by tourists and DSS visitors.
