Over 1500 labours attends the Iftar event organized by Malabar Group CSR initiatives in association with CDA

Malabar Gold & Diamonds organized an iftar event on the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan in a labor camp at Al Quoz, Dubai in association with Community Development Authority, Dubai. Over 1500 labours attended the event, which was organized as a part of their month long calendar of activities planned for the month of Ramadan. Mr Palani Babu , Head of Facility & Society Licensing Section Regulatory and Licensing Department joined the event along with officials from Malabar Gold & Diamonds and Community Development Authority. 

Malabar Gold & Diamonds has already provided special iftar dinner to over 50,000 residents in GCC this Ramadan as a part of their CSR activities to embrace the spirit of giving. Every year Malabar Gold & Diamonds conducts similar iftar events in the areas of their operations to spread the message of togetherness, friendship and peace. 

They strengthen their activities during the month of Ramadan and apart from this they undertake social welfare activities all year long, focusing on five priority areas such medical, educational sector, environment as well as housing and women empowerment. 

The jewellery chain with over 116 retail outlets in India, GCC and Singapore sets apart a certain percentage of their net profit for the benefit of the needy.
