Max Factor Regional Creative Director Joelle Mardinian Delights Crowd with Unveiling of Glamourous Summer 2014 Make-Up Look

Julie Joseph – the lucky winner of Max Factor's Excess Volume Competition – joined the make-up maven on stage at Dubai's Mirdiff City Center to help present the highly-anticipated Summer 2014 Make-up Look

Dubai, UAE, July 2014:  On July 23rd, make-up enthusiasts gathered in impressive numbers at Dubai's Mirdiff City Center to catch the unveiling of Max Factor Regional Creative Director Joelle Mardinian's exclusive Summer 2014 make-up look. The look, which exudes glamour and features a truly bold color palette, is a culmination of Max Factor's Excess Volume competition. Launched in June, the contest saw women from across the region submit an image of their glamorous Excess Volume eye make-up; from there, lucky winner, Julie Joseph, was selected and given the exclusive opportunity to serve as a trendsetter alongside Joelle, the region's coveted beauty professional.

As part of her winning prize, Julie spent an exciting day with Joelle, co-creating the Max Factor Summer 2014 make-up look, a full-fledged guide to the season's hottest beauty trends using Max Factor's new Excess Volume Extreme Impact Mascara and Excess Volume Longwear Eyeliner. Julie also received a glamorous hair and make-up transformation under Joelle's supervision, and was her special guest at the unveiling of the make-up look at Mirdiff City Centre.

The new Max Factor Summer 2014 make-up look was met with wide-spread applause from attendees at the grand unveiling. Inspired by the bold, gold eye-brows from this season's global fashion runways and the fresh and fun colours of the summer, Joelle re-created her own on-trend, Summer 2014 make-up look, making it relevant to the local consumer and wearable for every day. The look focused heavily on a dramatic eye, using Max Factor's new Excess Volume Longwear Eyeliner, which offers expert glide-on precision with long-lasting properties. Joelle finished off the look with Max Factor's new Excess Volume Extreme Impact mascara, a two-step mascara for excess volume combined with an intense, jet-black lacquer finish. The ultimate eyeliner and mascara combination to take your look from ordinary to extraordinary!

“The 2014 Summer Make-Up Look was specifically designed to help you make your own powerful glamour statement,” said Joelle Mardinian, Max Factor Regional Creative Director. “And with this new, ultimate mascara and eyeliner combination, you can easily re-create the trends from the runways, to take your day look to an extraordinary, intense, look for the night. They are true must-have summer essentials.”

The end of the competition and grand prize winner day received stellar reviews from winner, Julie Joseph. “This was an incredible experience. Receiving the chance to step into Joelle's glamorous world was amazing, as I really got to see first-hand her work in action! It was an honour to be a part of the process as she created the Summer 2014 look, and I can't wait to try the look on myself when I get home. This was truly a day for me to remember.”
