House United and Blush Records are Proud to Announce Electronic Producer & Grammy-Award Winning DJ Zedd is Set to Play Live in Dubai

Performing Live at Zero Gravity, Skydive Dubai Drop Zone on the 5th September 2014

14th July 2014 – Dubai, United Arab Emirates – House United and Blush Records, the innovative dance team behind Paul Van Dyk’s earlier appearance in the region, is proud to announce that as part of his international tour, award-winning electronic music producer DJ Zedd will host an exclusive performance here in Dubai. The live set will take place at Zero Gravity, Skydive Dubai Drop Zone in Dubai Marina, on the 5th September 2014, to kick off a very exciting and international event line-up for the venue.

Zedd signed with Interscope records in 2012 and released his debut LP Clarity, the Grammy award winning record.  The album’s first single, “Spectrum,” featuring singer/songwriter Matthew Koma, garnered massive global attention climbing into the  the Top 10 on the iTunes dance chart and holding on to the #1 spot on Beatport Worldwide for almost three weeks.  The track then soared to #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Song chart and was ultimately named their Dance Club Song of the year as well as iTunes “Breakthrough Album of the Year “Dance” for 2012. Chart toppers from DJ Zedd have also included Stay the Night and Find You.
In addition to racking up original production credits for artists including Eva Simons’ “I Don’t Like You” and Justin Bieber’s “Beauty And A Beat,” Rolling Stone named
Zedd an “Artist to Watch” for 2012, and more recently, MTV deemed him an “Artist to Watch” for 2013.  Zedd has performed at major festivals, including Ultra, Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld and Nocturnal and in 2012, he performed at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Hard Summer in Los Angeles, and Electric Zoo in New York.   Zedd made his national television debut on The Late Show with David Letterman in October where he turned his signature style upside down performing a stripped down version of his new single “Clarity” -showcasing his classical training by playing piano alongside a string quartet and vox from Foxes.  The performance is a prime example of Zedd's true musicianship beyond the realm of EDM.  Zedd was also chosen to be the only opening act for the Asian leg of Lady Gaga's world stadium-tour "The Born This Way Ball”.

For his Dubai performance, pre sale tickets are now available via platinum list and cost AED 180. Tickets at the door on the evening of the event will cost AED 220. Doors open at 8pm and close at 3am, the event is 21+.
