DS Transfer Production Paper complements Epson SureColor printers and
UltraChrome DS inks for fashion and soft signage textile applications
Dubai, UAE; 11 May 2014 – Epson announces the launch of DS Transfer Production Paper, its first dye sublimation material. Optimised for use with the Epson range of SureColor SC-F inkjet printers and UltraChrome DS inks, DS Transfer Production Paper is unique to Epson and has been specifically developed for the volume production of textiles for fashion and soft signage applications.
DS Transfer Production Paper is lightweight (75gsm) and designed to dry quickly and avoid wet cockling. Its high ink transfer to textile substrates capability, even with heavy ink loads, maximises ink use efficiency and produces consistent high quality, sharp images and vibrant colours. The excellent dimensional stability of DS Transfer Production Paper during the printing and ink transfer processes makes the paper easy to handle and reduces any potential waste of paper, ink, and textile while maximising production.
Shihab Zubair, Business Development Manager of Epson Middle East said “Our first transfer paper gives end users total peace of mind by providing a complete solution comprising Epson printer, ink and media, which have been optimised to work together to ensure the best all-round quality and performance for textile applications.”
Now available DS Transfer Production Paper is compatible with the SureColor SC-F range of dye sublimation printers and available in two high-volume roll sizes: 1.08m x 152m and 1.62m x 175m.
