CITIZEN have announced that they will launch their Spring/Summer Collection 2014 in the Middle East during this month (April), to coincide with the debut of Indian Premier League cricket tournament in the UAE this year.
With the Indian cricket board deciding to bring the early games of the world’s richest cricket league to the UAE this year, lovers of the game in the UAE are expected to be caught up in the excitement of seeing some of the game’s biggest superstars up close.
CITIZEN’s Brand Ambassador Kevin Pietersen, one of the most exciting batsmen in world cricket, is set to play another stellar role for the Delhi Daredevils this year. CITIZEN has decided to time the launch of the new Eco-Drive METAL collection in line with international cricket’s biggest extravaganza, in honour of the game and Pietersen.
Eco-Drive METAL was the first collection of light powered watches in the world to feature metal dials when it was launched back in 2001. The new collection comes in rugged to functional sporty designs and vividly coloured materials such as Black, Silver, Dark Blue, Charcoal Grey, White, Orange and Green to match the vibrant and lively ambience of IPL.
They have two new faces; two eyes in vertical and two eyes in horizontal. The collection also comes with metal, stainless steel, Black Ion plating, Nylon and leather bands. Case sizes range from 42-46mm and water resistance up to 100m.
Powered by any light, Eco-Drive watches never need a battery change. By ‘removing’ batteries from the waste stream and ultimately the environment, CITIZEN Eco-Drive is a product that not only contributes to environmental sustainability; it also makes owning CITIZEN Eco-Drive watches a socially responsible choice.
New Eco-Drive METAL timepiece is sophisticated, yet both sporty and stylish all qualities that typify our Brand Ambassador, Kevin Pietersen.
